We are looking to expand our team of seamstresses in the Chicago area!

At MAYSA, we pride ourselves on the care, patience, close detail and seamless finish on all of our garments. We are also known for our bead/pearling design work and looking for someone(s) who matches our core values.

Job Requirements/Skills

• Sewing -

  2+ years of sewing. You can be self taught or have a degree in Fashion Design.

• Pattern-making

  Have 2+ years in Pattern Making. Degree Required.

• Cutting

  Cutting patterns.

• Detail-oriented

  Some of our garments have bead/pearl details. It’s required that you have the patience, detail-oriented attitude.

• Organized

  Knowing each cut size group placement etc.

• Fast Learner

  Will train for this position.

• Alter, Mend, Modify, and Construct Garments

This role is remote but needs to be local for easy meetings, pick-ups and communication. We are flexible on hours as long as you can meet deadlines.

We are looking for someone who knows all things Content! Is that you?!

MAYSA is looking for someone who can develop our brand and establishing our online presence. This job entails overseeing marketing strategies that engage customers and ensuring they are happy with what our products and/or services offer.

Description:

• Knowledge of digital marketing software, tools, and methods with a focus on content and SEO.

• Manage the content development process for new services, tools, and processes for all social media and website.

• Create marketing videos and post to our social media and website.

• Update our website with new products, content and inventory.

• Coordinate email communications.

• Assist with photoshoots (depending on location)

The role also requires people and project management skills.
